You might have it in a file that resets it when you restart ET.

Use something like this for your name:

^0[FBY]^1Dreadscott

^0 makes whatever follow black

^1 makes it red

I used ETcol 1.25. You can find it here. http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefront.com/file/ETCol_Color_Names_and_Texts_for_ET;94985#Download

awesome, thank you both. I keep putting in the color codes and was before my absence, but I think my files are just jacked. I will figure it out a bit later. Thanks again!

This will fix your problem. Open Notepad (the file program) and copy and paste this text into a new file:

seta name ^0[FBY]^1Dreadscott

That's it. Just put that text in an empty Notepad file.

Then save this file as "autoexec.cfg" (not as a .txt file).

Put this file in your C:/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain folder.

It should run automatically when you start the game up. If it doesn't work (sometimes they don't get automatically executed), open your console during the game (hit the ~ button) and type this:

/exec autoexec.cfg

That will make it work if it doesn't get executed.

You should only have to run this once. Using the "seta" command will overwrite whatever setting in your etconfig is removing your colors.
