Screen/cfg?

Ok after i left nq server a minute later i went to beginner server all my binds an stuff was gone did the thing for my config an nothing. when game ended the little chat box would only show one person talking or nothing at all or when i say something i see nothing. What would be the problem? oh half the chat box is greyish black (Top)other half was green (bottom)

I had similar problem on NQ. Most of my settings were gone. Like the attack and squat. It seemed the mod reset all settings. It did not change my name though. When i disconnected and returned, all was bk to normal. I was going to mention this to Selen but forgot.
  And as for Gotcha. I pretty sure your name connects under ETPlayer until your connected. Maybe your name is not set up in ET main.

You can run this in your console when you are on jaymod:

/exec etconfig.cfg

this should reset your settings for jaymod.

Another common trick is to set your settings in a file called "autoexec.cfg", and then you can run this file whenever you want to reset your settings.

reason why i asked about this problem cause this was the first time this has happened to me since i first started playing ET.

What happens is that the no quarter mod overwrites the etconfig.cfg file so you need to run the one in your jaymod to reset it.
