Here's the program/Doom modifier you use to make/download "Brutal Doom" as well as your own version of the game(Baddies with your bosses face, Simpsons characters ect.) It automatically finds your existing copies of "Doom" and attaches itself, you need a full copy of any "Doom" version(Level one shareware won't work) So I dl'ed  ultimate doom from steam for 5 bucks.

BTW the main use of this program, it's a multiplayer!!

I'm on it now dling files I need to play on the closest free server, It's amazingly like the old Wolf et master server

The closest(ping wise) server to me is some kind of crazy "Mega Man" Doom, pretty neat I knew the mods existed but not servers you guys have to check this stuff out
here's the ip 108.61.83.66:15164 all you need to access this server is a copy of any Doom,Zanadrum(installed and attached to your doom files) The server files (they dl just like et when you connect)

If you need to buy it from steam, Ultimate Doom is the best deal, they all cost 5 bucks but Ultimate Doom is just that(every Doom version except final Doom). The High resolution version( 1080 single player) of the game somehow names it self in a desktop icon that says "Omnibot et" but the avatar looks nothing like the ET symbol, but talk about awesome Doom in 1080, also Ultimate Doom is the only version that has semi-modern FPS controls even m_pitch!!!!(m_pitch )

I played a LOT of doom back in tha day. Prettty kewl Kidd.
