What will happend when she will have 55 or 60 years old ?
It's SO stupid (according to me), but there are like 400 guys listed to **** with her -____-

Re: Twisted News
I find it amusing how certain US agencies dislike Snowden - to put it mildly.

Re: Twisted News
We're talking about the largest spy agency in the World, getting caught with their pants down, by some low-level external hire on. Seems to me they didn't perform all that well in their screening process and in maintaining a sufficient level of internal security. Oxymoronic in a sense.
Yes, Mr. Snowden broke the law and should face trial for it, but shouldn't they as well, be accountable to uphold the law?

Re: Twisted News
The irony is that the NSA was given a mandate to spy on everyone by the US Patriot Act, which was approved by the House of Representatives, the Senate, and signed by the President. It gave them powers to spy on everyone to prevent terrorism.
Unfortunately their mandate was so ambiguous that they could exceed it with impunity, and since by the nature of intelligence work 99% of it is never revealed to the public anyway, who would know what they were doing anyway? We have not had a significant terrorist attack since 9-11, and I'm sure there have been many groups trying to do a copycat attack that were apprehended early or never attempted it due to the tighter security. So you "could" point at that and say "it works", and have a point, but it is difficult to say if it is worth the gross violation of privacy (and the violation of the 4th amendment of the US Constitution) that has occurred.
Personally I suspect the whole thing was staged so the government (I know "the government" is huge and composed of many groups with opposing agendas, so I am not trying to sound like a paranoid wacko) could exploit the new opportunities for surveillance and social control offered by 21st century technology. I still find it difficult to believe that two airplanes could collapse those massive skyscrapers (not to mention the adjacent WTC-7 building that inexplicably collapsed on its own later without even getting hit by an airplane).
Welcome to the 21st century. It is as different from the 20th century as the 1800s were from the 1900s. Oh and yes Snowden deserves that Nobel Peace Prize, hell they gave one to Obama and he has killed thousands of people, so why not a criminal who steals data from his employer and reveals state secrets to the Russians?

Well, Mr. Snowden counts for that remaining 1%.obituary wrote:Unfortunately their mandate was so ambiguous that they could exceed it with impunity, and since by the nature of intelligence work 99% of it is never revealed to the public anyway, who would know what they were doing anyway?
I could never condone any acts of treason, no matter what side of the fence your loyalty lies. I do however, like that he has opened up the eyes of the World and given us an insight into their mode of operation and more so, the capabilities they possess.
I am not concerned about the NSA or any other 3-letter agency for that matter, spying on me - I'm of absolutely no value at all in that game. My main concern lies at a much more personal level, identity thieves primarily, which is why I keep my shit locked down, my passwords are long and cryptic, my data drive encrypted and only connected to my computer when absolutely needed. My home is also protected by various means, electronically, weaponry, dogs etc.
Do I feel paranoid? Not the least. Do I feel safe? Very much so.
