Marketgarden?
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone would be into playing the MarketGarden map?
I used to play it on a server where the number of lives was limited, so you had to be very careful how you went about things, but it was really a test of teamwork.
It doesn't have to be implemented with limited-lives, however. It just makes it more fun.
Thanks for reading

Hey Ox,
We'll consider this map for future updates.
Thanks.

Thanks, Selene!
Another detail about that map, it's the only one I know of that both the Axis and the Allies must simultaneously defend and attack to win: The Allies try to blow up the Axis water-tower while preventing the Axis from blowing-up their base. At the same time the axis must defend their water-tower while they try to blow-up allied headquarters.
I don't know of any other map like that. Most maps you are either attacking or defending, not both.
The server I used to play it on also would figure out when a side no longer could win and would end the map when that happened.
It was pretty sophisticated. I don't know the effort required to permit such a map in the rotation but I hope you can give it a shot.
Thanks!

Ok, this scenario seems interesting. I found it and added it to Beginner and NQ, we'll see how it plays

Re: Marketgarden?
*sigh*
I suppose so.
The longest I saw it run for was 52 minutes when I made a point of defending the objective by spawning nearest the Allied HQ.
I suppose someone on the Axis side was equally defending the water-tower by spawning at the bridge instead of on of the other 2 possible spawn-points.
It's a great map that can go on for hours, literally, if both sides understand it and defend accordingly.
