This thread answers frequently asked questions about map "northpole".

1. The gate that can be destroyed by satchel does not need to be destoyed in order to finish the map, since there is another passage to the objective.
2. The flag does not have to be captured in order to finish the map, since the whole map is accesible from the beginning.
3. That being said, do not finish the map in first 5 minutes. Let the map play out.

I watched last night where the axis had the objective within the first minute and just hid for the rest of the 5 minutes before trying to run it in.

I guess this falls into not touching the final objective in the first 5 minutes?

Northpole would not even need the 5 minutes rule if only teams were always balanced, really.

With a packed server, axis would never win.
