I had to take that urbanterritory.pk3 out for two reasons.


One, the mortars were pounding on the axis so they could never get out of spawn. There is only one way out and if you put a mortar on it then there is no way to play the map. The other allies players have no one to hunt since the mortar gets all the kills. This is the same reason we had to take out that Paris map. Same person was doing it.

Two, that map forces all the players to download it when they connect, even if it is not even on the current mapcycle. It has some kind of embedded campaign file that makes anyone connected to the server download it. Even if it is not being played, just having it on the server makes it download.

It behaves like a clan server menu, where it autodownloads whether you want it or not. I had reinstalled ET last night while checking out an unrelated technical issue on the new server, and I had urbanterritory on the server but not in the mapcycle, and it started downloading to my fresh new installation. So that map had to go, and be deleted from the server entirely.

I added Supply Desert to this mapcycle yesterday. I played it on another server last week and I liked the look of it. Desert maps are brighter and the players stand out more than when everything is grey.
