Invalid GUID

I have had to migrate to Linux PClinuxFM. I'm still learning it. I tryed running ET in Wine, and I get a error message that says, "invalid GUID" . How do I fix that?
I posted this here for all to find the fix for this issue.

have you try to google bacause i dont now nothing about linux

Make sure you have Etkey, if you have then try to type in conole /pb_cdkeyreg

You can copy your etkey from any old install of et.
Also, why run the Windows version under wine when there's a perfectly good Linux version of ET available?

Try to get the sound to work. And tell me how that works out for you.
Got my windows going again. But still getting the GUID issues. FUUUUUCCCCCCC&&&&&$$$$$$$ I wanna play.
I put my backup Key in my ETmain folder and stll I get this message.
So believe me I'll be installing and reinstalling till my ass hairs ingrow.
Does anybody else feel like sctrachiing their ass about now?
I love Uranus jokes.
Did you know that the moons around Uranus are really dinglberries caught in your ass hair?
Sometime4s when I get in the shower. I find a dingleberry. And I'm like what should I call it?
Bet yo0u didn't see that coming, did yea? But then with me it's one of my more endearing qualities. My ass iches right now. And the only way to scratch it is "SHOOT TO THRILL"

I fell like a dumb ass but how do I access the console if I cannot even get on the server. It's still iching.

i have had with e.t so many prob and the best fix was copy my on e.t folder take it to my friend and paste it there and then it works like charm:D

You can access console at main menu too.
