Admitted Cheaters

If a player admits that he/she is cheating, then you are free to ban them immediately without a video or permission.

Examples would be a player named "I hack'. Or someone saying "my hack is better than yours". Or someone sending you a message that they are hacking because everyone else is doing it too.

Obviously someone might be joking, and you may want to talk with them first to correct their behavior.

Admitted cheaters cause confusion among other players. They make people wonder if it is OK to use aimbots or wallhacks on our servers.

Many players may have a cheat and never use it, and then decide it might be fun to use it here, if they think no one cares. Admitted cheaters encourage non-cheaters to cheat.

One skilled aimbotter can clear out a server. And then you have nothing but omnibots and aimbotters. And then all our work at attracting players is wasted.

Also, admitted cheaters waste our time because then we have to spec them, and gather evidence when they have already provided the evidence by "confessing" to cheating.

If you ban an admitted cheater, be sure to get proof first before you ban them, and then report it in the usual area of the forum. Please provide a screenshot (use F11) of the player name, or a screenshot or condump of the chat message where they admit to using a hack. Also please !finger them and provide their guid, etkey, etc.
