Can't log onto server

Today I am not able to log on to your server to play.
While logging on it is trying to download .pk3 files with __] __] __] special symbols ???

Yesterday I was playing, no problem at all.

Do you have any idea to help me out?

But I did not change anything.

Any idea?

Search for the file named and remove it from the etmain folder ,(don't delete it just move it from ETMain) then try to reconnect

there is no such file :-(

obviously the _03.pk3 file is to be downloaded when logging onto Funboy BEGINNER, but it does not work.

what do i have to check???

It is our server menu to make it easier for players to return. It uses a special name so it will get loaded properly. You may have gotten a partial download. Please go to this folder and delete it:

Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain

I did as I've been told by obituary.
Still no effect.

But after every attempt I've got a broken _03.pk3 again in the folder etmain. Alle the time filesize is just about 6 KB.

Any furhter ideas?

Done so. Still doesn't work. Again it tries to download the file
and prompts, it has the wrong checksum. illegible servermessage 255.

and there's a _03.e39 file, that is downloaded.
even when i delete this before new attempt, it doesnt work...

Hmmm... I don't know what could help you other than reinstalling ET.
It's possible that you downloaded some bad stuff from other servers.

Just remember to save your etkey before doing so.

I don't get it - I saw you on the server about half an hour ago.

I was displayed online up here, too.
But I really could not get onto it.

It's possible that you have one from another server with the same name. The size mismatch in your screenshot you took means that you have one with the same name but a different size. Try deleting all of the funny files you see with rectangles or ~~~s in your etmain folder.

A lot of servers are switching over to the rectangles now to try to overwrite all the files with 50 squiggles (the ~~~~.pk3 files) in them. So we have to do it too, or lose players.

I would rather not bother with sticky menus lol.

If anyone else has seen this problem please let us know.
