Beastborg for World President

Hi everyone. I know most of the Funboy regulars, having played the FBY servers for several months now. I live in Florida and can also walk on my hands.

I'd like to apply to join the FBY clan. I really enjoy the low gravity, infinite ammo, multi-weapon system used by FBY, and the folks who play here are good enough to be a real challenge. That being said, this isn't a hardcore server where a stray pistol shot hitting a teammate can get me banned for 30 minutes, which is another plus.

As you may have noticed, we are in the midst of a crisis (lol) with regard to the number of maps used by the FBY Beginner server. I've started visiting other servers to try to find maps that aren't easily rushed or wall-jumped by the more devious-minded souls among us. I could also act as a FBY advocate while I'm scanning servers for new maps that we could use here. What do you guys think?

As for joining the clan, we will discuss it amongst clanmembers and let you know. It will probably take few days, so be patient. ;]

Yes, we need a longer map cycle. Most of the maps have been removed, because we were tired of kicking half of our players for rushing them.
Finding non-rushable map is not easy. It should be designed in a way that you can't just jump to take/destroy the objective, skipping the previous objective in the process.
We'll try and find some maps that meet these criteria.

Regarding maps, yes we have had to remove a lot of fun maps due to chronic rushing with the low gravity. It is a challenge to find maps that do not lag, are omni-bot compatible, cannot be rushed, due not have a choke point where one mortar or arty spammer can ruin the game, do not have three different versions of the same name out there with different sizes (this causes players to get kicked), and of course...

the map has to be fun and interesting!

Lots of criteria to be a "Funboy" map. Yet we still have great lineups. You can tell that lots of research is done.
