Hello all,just wanna say that i have met a few players and i ca honestly say they are all pretty cool especially Lonestar he is 1 hell of a player.anyway i am asking if i could become a member of your clan. i love playing the flight school. also is there anyway we can get new maps for flight school,need something different thats more complex.thanks Manic1965

Flight School has a lot of maps, but only three are running on the repeating cycle: baserace desert, ET beach, and Rommel. All the other maps can be voted for between maps.

I might add mlb_temple to the recurring map cycle. I love that map.

Do you have any specific requests for maps?

no not really,justs didnt know if it was possible for a longer and more tougher map.i like all the maps you have including mlb temple,i am open to anythng you all might have.

Temple would be a great addition. I'm trying to remember some map names,lol.
Anyway, Manic is a good player. Respectful and always following the rules.

Welcome aboard brutha but the flight school server you do have the option to vote for different maps youll have to vote at the end of the map when the map ends.....

When we add more omnibots the server will slow down since they are managed by the server CPU. So we usually run 16-24 bots. Some maps lag more than others, so a laggy map with a lot of omnibots causes the server to get choppy lag.

Plus on the jaymod servers, we have modified the weapons so they shoot much faster, which puts a strain on the server CPU to calculate all the flying bullets from all the omnibots.

More omnibots + more bullets = CPU strain -> choppy lag

Blackwolf I should have time this weekend for training if you are available. I think I have Sunday afternoon free if you want to spend some time learning admin commands. Anyone else who wants to learn or review is welcome to join. If you can install teamspeak 3 it is much easier to do training than typing everything in the game chat.

You are welcome to get on teamspeak and chat. Admin training is for admins since we cover how to catch and ban cheaters. But teamspeak is for everyone. Good way to get to know us if you are interested. Weekends are more popular times for teamspeak.

Sounds nice but kids drive me off the wall on weekends too.

i installed TS several days ago.not many ppl on it

I just did a new install and haven't got it taken care of TS yet, but I plan on getting TS up and running soon myself, look forward to catching you guys on there.
