!Nextmap

The !nextmap command is not to be used to cycle through multiple maps to get to the one you want to play. The reason is that when you have a bunch of players connected then you will end up disconnecting or angering most of them.

If they do not have a map pk3 file already on their computer when that map starts, then they have to download it from the server. So if you use !nextmap a bunch of times then they have a backlog of files in a queue to be downloaded to their home computer, for maps that are not in use.

People hate downloads and will often leave when large files start downloading. So they will give up after five minutes of downloading one map after another and send me angry messages.

Use !nextmap if a map gets stuck, or if you are alone on the server or with a couple other players and you know they all want a certain map. Don't use it when there is a crowd of players. Also you have to let the map load up or you might crash the server and if I am unavailable it might be off all day.

Further misuse of !nextmap will result in the command removed from your account.
