Cant find server on

Hi I last played on the funboy beginner server at 3 am saturday morning but can not find any of the Funboy servers on the et list???

write "connect 108.61.18.107:27962" in console if you cant find server in list.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I tried connecting directly to the IP also like you mentioned but it just says "awaiting connection" for minutes. Any other reasons why I cant see the servers??

You might want to try reinstalling the game. Be sure to save your "etkey" file (in etmain folder) and replace it in your new installation, so you can get your XP back. Also be sure to delete any leftover files too. Easiest way is just delete the "Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory" folder, everything is in there.

Might want to save a copy of you config file(s) too.  Don't forget autoexec.cfg if you've ever modified it.

I've noticed that sometimes beginner doesn't show up.  If I exit the client and come back in sometimes (usually) it will show up.  On the other hand, I run the Linux client so mine may be different.

I still have my hosts file pointing to an alternate master server after that time the ID ones went down.

Could that be a part of his problem?

He got his system running a few weeks ago, this thread is no longer relevant. He is back on the server as normal.

I asked him what he did to fix it but he did not know.
