firing weapon

i have an odd ? i geuss,why is it when i get to a certain spot on almost every map my rounds per min/sec. goes way down,but my ping stays the same,is it just a glitch or what?

No, the firing rate should be consistent. If you are lagging but your ping is good (less than 100), then it is your computer lagging, not your internet connection.
Some maps lag more than others, especially if there are large open areas where players can see a long distance. This is why maps like baserace_desert and fueldump lag out in the open.
On Minas for example, players lag when the map starts and they are out in the huge grassy open area, but once they are in the tight corridors the lag always goes away.
Next time your rate of fire goes down, make a note of where you are on the map and let us know. Thanks.
