Demos & questionable playing skills

There are a few more demos here.

Demo 30, 13 & 11 are all the same person. I posted 11 before and though I thought it was quite obviously a wall-hack (ie, a player was tracked and followed through a mountain) it was ultimately deemed to be insufficient evidence. Demo 13, there's some dialogue throughout, and at approx the 20:45 time frame and thereabouts he alluded to multiple machines being used and multiple players possibly using his account, there was an issue of communication due to language.  Demo 30, from today, there were multiple accounts of seeing people from across the map in the fog, or knowing where they were around corners, sometimes of course those are the common location to hide but not sure in others. Just a thought.

Demo 20 & 19 are of probably the best player that's been on Asylum or FBY ever. Maybe just REALLY GOOD but there were several incidents that seemed questionable, looking like he (or she?) saw players around corners and through walls and there was at least one case where he/she shot at a wall that had Iron_Horse behind it, exactly at Iron_Horse's location, and another time where he followed Iron_Horse up until he came out from behind the wall. Again, REALLY GOOD regardless if there was anything there, just thought I'd put this out there for those who like to grab a bucket of popcorn and watch ET replays on a Friday night. Now there's a stupid idea      

Iron_Horse, this last one you might be interested in since you even were wondering as you were playing against this player. If he wasn't using anything to help the game, then you just got straight up beat, and I in the end was too scared to even enter the game against him.

Demo 19 and 20 looks like a wall hack to me, his aim seems mediocre/good, not like an aimbot. Maybe he is just good, think someone else watching it would definitely be a good idea.

EDIT: apparently he is rank 49 on SL, while playing on his own server so he is mostly likely just a good player. http://et.splatterladder.com/?mod=ranking&select=49

Devilhunter is definitely an aimbot in demo 11, should be banned. Goes full i<34rc4d3 at some point.

Problem is if you look at the !list DevilHunter has an admin level 2. The other person, Kiora or whatever the name is, was so good it was hard to know if it was just anticipating where players normally come from or other ... the one time it seemed most questionable was when he went after Iron_Horse and was shooting at his exact location repeatedly though he was behind a wall (not shooting at the corner where he'd come out, but his location back behind the corner). Regardless if he uses something or not, he's a really good player, the best that's been on anytime recently. I'm sure me saying that makes you want to go on and face off with him .

That's a very good question Valkyr.

This was in the logs. It shows him using some kind of rcon hack to execute a bunch of commands, and one of them was setting himself to level 2.

It might be time to update from silent-0.8.2 to silent-0.9.0. We are seeing more hax that work on the version we are on.

Apparently he was on Facebook chatting it up with BlackWidow, trying to social engineer her to get to me. He wanted us to make him a server that just ran Baserace all day for him and his friends.

His Facebook page lists his profession as "Hacker" at some IT company in Algeria.

I don't know why he renamed himself with the FBY tags, he was never in FBY so if anyone sees this guy on any other ET servers please know he wasn't in FBY. We always had a strong policy against hackers and banned a few from FBY over the years.

I first noticed his level 2 a couple weeks ago after I first posted about DevilHunter using wall-hacks. I thought that because he had admin level he knew people and that's why he was able to get away with no more than a rebuke. I finally again just got so tired of playing against a guy obviously using wall-hacks I had to re-post with more videos about this guy. The general rule is if somebody running towards me consistently kills me over and over again in Baserace from across the map before I've even seen them, they're probably using a wall-hack. Again I'd follow him and would get so frustrated because in spec I noticed he wasn't near as good of a player as Koenios, Iron_Horse, Natural, the new person Kiora, or a lot of other players I could name, and yet his KR was consistently up in the 9's (Kiora topped that, above 10 somewhere, crazy high). 

FYI, it was also DevilHunter who was on screwing things up when Amsterdam was on, with the voting and all if you'll recall, he would basically side with Amsterdam on it all. Perhaps just two hackers working together, not sure, but it almost seemed as if Amsterdam would purposefully play the opposite team as DevilHunter just to screw with his own teammates, shove them around, smoke up his own spawn, etc, etc. At first I suspected they might know each other, but they came and went at separate times.  

I warned DevilHunter not to use hacks several times, he just kept saying, "Report on the forum" and didn't want to talk about it. Seemed as if two people might be using one computer how he talked, and sometimes he quite obviously didn't use a wall-hack, but he always seemed to have the same playing style.

Anyway, thanks for bringing the hammer down on all this Obit - we just need a reverse hack that burns out a person's gaming system automatically when they try to use hacks on your server
