cant connect

Okay so i go to play and i've been banned for wallhack. Cmon, for real. If i get banned for wallhack then it is apparent that you do not a cheat when you really see one unless it's out right obvious, due to the fact i do not cheat. I've been playing here for awhile and if there was any kind of thought of this why not ask me. I'm 44 years old and do this for enjoyment, so that's why i'm posting this. Thanks for your time. BAMA

NCGuy = BAMA?  I saw it in game:

"Recently banned for hacking:  ... [FBY]BAMA"  

AirRaid and I were quite shocked by seeing it posted in-game.  Personally I had a hard time believing it, you're an awesome player, and honestly I hope it's just a misunderstanding because I'd like to see you back in game directly.  Hardly an all-around good of a player as BAMA, and who will I keep tally kills against otherwise?

Hash, yes a misunderstanding at best  but they said they have video of me "using wallhack". I've been here long enough to know that if some players think you cheat then that will be your label from then on. I know i do not cheat but hey, how can someone defend themselves from anothers opinion on a computer?  Always a blast shooting it up with ya

Okay, so i just saw this "video". I really have to say it's kind of comical, like watching an episode of COPS. You watch the video and see nothing wrong but with a little voice direction saying look here, watch that,  it can turn an innocent person seem guilty. If this is the "only" evidence you have of me "cheating" (lol) then i think your cheat detection skills are off.  Everyone knows how i play, like gung-ho or camikazee style. I have never used anything to improve my game, hell i never ever wrote a cfg or script, i do not know how. I really like this server and enjoyed playing here. Thanks. BAMA

I saw the video too.  I didn't see anything indicative of cheating.  BAMA was noob-like slow on shooting people when they came around the corner, obviously unaware people were coming. He even got shot by someone who snuck right up in front of him, which he definitely would have seen if he had a wall-hack.  I mean, only a noob wouldn't have seen that guy.

I think the lesson we should all take away from this, after watching the video, isn't whether or not BAMA cheated (there's simply no evidence for that) ... it's that the hype around BAMA's reputation is way too much.  Give anybody a sten and stick them in front of the spawn and they'll get that many kills.  BAMA, you spawn-camper!  I was very underwhelmed following him as he played and I have so much more confidence that I can take him on when he comes back in game.  Bring it on!

I did that.  I've now watched the video SIX times.  Here's what I know so far.

1. This ban lacks evidence (at least based on this video--maybe there are others that actually show him cheating???)
2. He doesn't ever, not once, shoot like he knows what's coming around the corner.  That's a hard thing to keep up with continual play IF YOU DO KNOW.
3. 3:55, he gets killed by a guy that sneaks up in front of a crate directly in front of him.  You can't miss it with /r_shownormals 1, nor could he miss it if he had a wall-hack.  Heck, I'm surprised he missed it as is.  
4. 3:37 he points his gun at the crates, nothing behind.  That is obviously what he does as he rounds the corner, waiting for somebody hiding there maybe.
5. 3:35-3:25 spawn-camping, always lags a split second when shooting, obvious he doesn't know what is around the corner
6. 3:05-3:00 he again points towards crates, coincidentally there are dead bodies on the other side, that's it.  He then goes back and looks to the steps, since he just 5 sec prior killed somebody there, he knows they go that way.  Nothing more.
7. 2:40 again at spawn, not once does it appear that he has a wall-hack, no evidence that he sees anybody coming.
8. 2:05 again points gun at crates, coincidentally this time there are NOT bodies behind it.
9. 1:35-1:00 again spawn-camping, not once does it appear that he knows people are coming.
10. You've gotta be sure before you ban somebody, especially a good player and a clan member, and I just don't see how you can be sure watching this video with an attention towards detail ... always another plausible explanation.

I watched and watched looking for something.  Didn't see any evidence.  The only thing that "appears" suspect is that he looks at the dead body that he put there 5 seconds prior?  And then, is he actually looking at the body, or is he just pointing at the steps to see if somebody is moving that way and his gun coincidentally points at the body?  Not once was there any evidence of a wall-hack while actually shooting at the other guys, and even that towards the body was coincidental at best...since he did the same thing in that mere 4:00 min of video multiple times, yet without a body coincidentally there at other times.

I've got to say, if people are banned on this little of so-called evidence, it's a wonder that everyone isn't banned by now.

This is a fun game, and BAMA is a good player that constantly evens teams.  Let's not get rid of good players on no evidence.

I just went back and watched it a seventh time, this time without the "r_shownormals 1," six times prior I had it on.  When it was off, it was even more obvious that he couldn't see what was coming.  I mean, the whole thing is based on him supposedly looking at some dead bodies ... when why the heck would you even need to look at dead bodies anyway--it's obvious they're dead.  So the other explanation is ... he was looking in that direction and a dead body was coincidentally there.  

The defense rests.  For now.

I do not recall what exactly i was doing at those specific times but i do use a very very expensive headphones and i can hear the slightest movement from distances away. I'm not saying that's why i ran here or done that but good chances are i hear gun fire and watch for enemy deaths and i run towards them sometimes looking a medic to kill.  I've made numerous comments about me being easy kill cause i am. Without adrenaline here i would not stand a chance lol. And yes, i do enjoy a good spawn camp lol,jk. You guys have to know i'm not cheating here. But, i do not want others to get on a naughty list to speaking up, i understand. 
  As for my game play in general, all i can say is i have prolly more hours playing this game than most, i do have experience but still feel like a weak player. As stated before, i  am not a computer guy, i can't even begin to write a script or cfg, i use default settings except for crosshair speed and color. I've seen hundreds of cheat videos in the past and i can tell you this video would have never been grounds for ban or even a thought really unless someone is out to try to make me a cheat.

You saying you're an "easy kill" is almost as funny as Koenios saying he's not the best player.  Both of you guys are too modest.  There's no such thing as a "naughty list" since there's no such thing as Santa Claus (I know guys like OneOldMan might in their old age find that hard to believe after all these years) ... no Santa Claus, and no evidence to the contrary.  

From watching the video, it was very obvious you wouldn't have been killed so easily IF you had a wall hack.

No Santa?  Oh hell.  Then who's been eating all the milk and cookies I leave out every year.  Damn.  Well I still have Mister Easter Bunny to look forward too.  I broke the Tooth Fairies bank already so I'll never see her again.

Okay, after the onslaught of messages i been getting it seems that i had some online friends that stick behind me . Believe me, i was TOTALLY floored when i tried to log on and saw the ban message. If i were in fact using a wallhack, then why would i not use it to improve or get alot more kills, never did i see a comment about me tracking and killing, NEVER. If i had wallhack you really think i would use it to see dead players,lol, too funny. It seems alot have made up their minds but go back and watch the video, i have and see nothing funny. I can video most of you, block your player name, then tell you to watch it and look for this or that and convince that you yourself is a hack if you do something mysterious. Very easy to do. I can name at least three admins that ALWAYS recorded me when they came on, did i ever ever change my gameplay,no. Did i ever try to sneak something in,never. Did i ever question any of you as to why you record me,NEVER, due to the fact i never had anything to hide. I guess by banning me it makes you feel powerful, well go go power ranger, your skills on this subject is off, the proof is in your video, so go ahead post it to public so ALL can see.

O btw, OldMan, we getting old, you may have been sleep walking that night,lol, you did not realize that chocolate was still in your teeth the next morning, lol. Santa is dead and ELVIS has left the building................
