Mouse Issues

Hey guys I have tried to play for the last couple of days and can do ok but have a game breaking problem with my mouse.  The mouse pointer drifts on its own and makes aiming a bitch. Tried a plug-in usb mouse also so the mouse itself is not the problem.  As stated in the description the issue only occurs in ET.

System: I-7 5820k 32Mb DDR4 RAM NVIDIA 980 running Windows 10
             Acer K272HUL 27 inch monitor 2k
             Logitech K350 wireless keyboard  M510 wireless mouse

Any suggestions would be welcome.  I used the same mouse and keyboard with XP and had no issues.

Hmmm good question.
However, I can tell you that a wired mouse is a better solution. No loss in time, more accurate.

I know my son uses a wireless mouse and seems to play well but for me, after 5 years, I noticed that I had loss of accuracy sometimes. My opinion.

Hey Nero.  Okay guys this is the latest on the mouse issue.  I reinstalled ET and was still having the issue. I have now found that the mouse works fine at 800x600 resolution but starts wandering if I try to use better video settings.  Still looking for an easy fix because I want highest resolution settings. Possibly it is windows 10 or 2k issue.

The first thing I tried was turning off enhancement setting in windows 10 and also turning off the mouse acceleration in Setpoint which is the logitech mouse setting software.  If anything it made it worse.

What about the mouse drivers then? Could yours be corrupted somehow?
You could go to MS support, and search an answer there also.
Anyone else playing on win 10?
I've been wondering if there could be a game compatibility issue with win 10.
Remember there was with some versions of win 7?

I will just play on standard settings. Looks ok and the 2k monitor seems to improve the look.
