Lizards. They are awesome! Especially chameleons.

Texas is Lonestar state. "LoneStar"

My nickname's origine is simple. I'm 16, most of you know it. But from 8 years old to 15, I was very small for the age I had. So, my friends were laughing at me and they called me 'le nain', what is The-Dwarf in english. At the beginning, I was angry each time they called me like that, because I tought they did that only to laught about me, but I realized that it was a cute nickname. So, even today with my 5' 7'', they call me le nain, because it was my name for almost 8 years now at school ! That's why !

I was studying ET cvars and I saw one I thought was neat: g_obituary

So I made it my new name for this clan. That's why I did not capitalize it.

As for pets we have guinea pigs and fish. I like them because they are easy to take care of and they don't tear up the house lol. When I was a kid we had many dogs and cats and they always pooped all over the house.

Try having a Rotty and a wiener dog. One is 95lbs. vs. 15 lbs. But they are the best buddies. Even though the little one thinks he's bigger than the other.

My nick is derived from the name Valkyrie. They were Odins winged servants and they brought the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla to feast in the great hall with him and be rewarded for their brave deeds. I shortened it because their were already a bunch of peeps using the full name.

Dans le film, il y a des gentilles petites créatures appelées des MOGWAI (je l’ai modifié un peu pour l’écrire MOGWY). Mais quand la petite créature entre en contact avec de l’eau, il en sort une créature plutôt démoniaque, un GREMLINS.

Cela me représente bien, je suis plutôt un bon gars, relaxe et patient. Mais quand c’est trop, c’est trop, alors je me transforme en GREMLINS avec un M97 !!

I changed my nick to Suicide back when I first started at the BBA server. It was suggested from one of the admins that I was friends with, he said that I seem to get killed more than anyone on there lol. (like over 150 when I first started) I said I liked to go on 'suicide missions', going into spawn by my self or just trying to kill the really good players. And there was already a guy name 'IdieAlot' lol.
The K.o.D or King of Darkness is from the song K.o.D by Tech N9ne, I'm sure some of you've heard me playing it lol; it's also from my story that I'm writing, it's still a work in progress. But I guess it's originally from my head when I saw the picture that's my avatar for the first time. I just saw it and my mind when wild with ideas, but one seemed to really stick, I imagined a jet black crown engulfed in the black and bits of dark red flames. The way I see him in my head...it's just beautiful.

What do you like the most in your city / state, and what you dislike in it ?

I like that it's big, crowded and loud. It makes me go somewhere to rest from all this noice, but I like it anyway.
There are some individuals, that have problems with minding their own business. That's what I dislike.

I really dont like the city I live in. We are actually ranked I think #70 for the worst traffic in US. It is HORRIBLE. And I'm not a patient man. And most of us carry weapons. You've heard the line "All Texans carry guns". Its true.LOL
I do love the state though. Its a texas thing I think. Im not sure how people feel for they're home state but we Texans really love ours. I have spent a lot of time in areas around El Paso and Odessa. These places are like the desert. You would think how would anyone want to live here? Ask anyone and they say they just love it. I have been in lots of different states and that are much more beautiful than Texas. Moving away from Texas never entered my mind,lol.

Uhh...Dwarf...most people don't know this, but texas has a height requirement. There is a sign with with the minimum height requirement line drawn on it at the border . Wear lifts in your shoes

well i live in the main city of estonia and i can say its pretty boring because you cant really to nything with out having isues later

I live about forty miles outside a collapsed city called St. Louis. It is pretty nice out here. We have a lot of trees and a river.

St. Louis is usually in the top five for violence in the US. But they don't make an effort to keep good records so we are probably number one.

I lived in the city of St. Louis for about five years. Every day there is a shooting in St. Louis. Everyone carries guns because everyone else carries guns. And the economy has totally collapsed so there are no jobs and a lot of desperate people. People ambush shoppers outside of grocery stores to rob them of the food they just bought. You have to be careful not to go to the stores at night or someone will pull out a gun and try to rob you of whatever you just bought. They shoot the shopper and run away with the shopping cart full of food. It gets really bad around Christmas.

I don't go out of my house at night.

And they wanted t take OUR guns away....

PCs are dead, I haven't bought a new one for four years. I wouldn't even buy one new now since I don't like Windows 8 much. If I bought one it would probably be used and it would need Windows 7.

I just get a cheap laptop for $300 every couple years. Whatever is on sale and doesn't have 5000 complaints online about it.

I prefer ASUS laptops. I had a Gateway laptop once and it started smoking and was a fire hazard. Wasn't even overclocked just bad wiring and too much abuse. They have to be rugged or they are broken in a month. My family destroys them so they get replaced this way.

PCs are dead because consoles are keeping everything down. The ports don't have higher requirements anymore. It's a little stuck until the new generation of consoles arrives. I don't really care about it so much anyway, I will continue to play ET on my 3 years old PC

I like Toshiba PCs, they are not the best one the market, but they don't cost a lot and they are pretty good (for example, you can have a NEW computer for 400 $$$, it's not a lot for the quality that Toshiba's PC give.

PCs are also dying because:

A) most human beings don't like Windows 8 too much
B) laptops are just as good and take up half the space, and they are portable
C) smartphones do most things ordinary people needed a computer for ten years ago
D) a five year old PC still does 95% of the same stuff as one from 2013.

I think the Letter D is false, because when you try to run big softwares (like if you want to create a movie or if you want to model piece with a CAD sofware, a 5 years old pc doesn't do the job. )
PCs have to upgrage, because software take more, more and more hard drive space and ram each year. Just think about game ( 5 years old before today, big game or big software where taking like 500 MB max, now, a normal sofware takes at least 4 GB !!!)
And I didn't talk about the Horrible speed of some computer because of new sofware too ''strong'' for them.
So, because of this, I don't think PCs are dead, because companies always need to make hard disk with more available space.

That's a valid point, but that's why I wrote 95%. Obviously high-end video editing will be faster on a new CPU, but if you are watching movies on Netflix or working on an Excel file, or running any "normal" game (not Crysis 2) an old PC is fine, imho.

PCs are dying because people have no money left after drinking the purple koolaid and getting the newest Iphone(aka"idiot"phone) and the newest Ipad(aka"Idiot"pad).

Gotta get them for the kids too, ya know. And you have to pay that extra 2 thousand for the mostly useless nav/media/gps system in your car. Remember you are not as fly without it.

They have to get the new one as soon as it is available or they are not on the cutting edge(aka keeping up with the Jones). Marketing to sheeple is wonderful.

Gotta get all your stuff in the cloud also, lmao. I find it amazing that people buy computers now with no hard copies of the operating system. Good luck when your windows will not load.

In ten years all the texting addicts will not even be able to type anymore because of repetitive motion diseases like carpel tunnel syndrome.

What people do not think about is the fact that after you store all you stuff in the cloud anybody can get to it. Before long all the hard copy media will not be available and you will have to buy everything off the net. And you will have to buy blocks of data to access the web and get media digitally.

Heck eventually media will not be sold but only leased, so you can listen to that song or watch that movie but will have to pay each time you do and pay for the data time also.

Friedrich I have an old 300GB hard drive full of movies and music from back when LAN parties were popular. We would all connect and copy each other's hard drives and play Counter Strike. Half the people would be crying that we were lagging the server and the other half of the people would say "so what I am getting 1000 songs for free and we can play Counter Strike any time so gfy".

Obviously it was chaos and I would not recommend it, especially since it is a good way to get in trouble these days. But we never put anything on the internet, it would have taken you five minutes to download each song at 56kbps back then. Napster was cool but LAN parties were 100X faster.

I haven't looked at that hard drive full of junk for years. At one point I skimmed through it and picked out about 500 songs I actually liked and put it on a flash drive. The rest of it is just junk I will never listen to and if I did not have it I would not even remember what it was.

When I want to watch a movie I go to Netflix or Youtube. Music is Pandora or youtube. It's more convenient.

We find the problem !!! All is because of the purple Koolaid !!!!!

I know I'm a bit of topic, but their is no specific topic in «Talking time» anyway, but I hate something more than old computer. ITS THE ******* internet services that allow us only 10 GB or 15 GB of download by month. !!!!

It's horrible, I cannot play each day, because if I do it, it cost 3 times the cost for internet services . I don't know if it's like that in you country, but here, it can cost more than 50 $ by month and you only have a LOW limited of download by month.

It could be cool to have illimited download snif !

Here in the US we pay a monthly fee and there is no data limit on internet service for PCs.

If you use a smart phone or tablet to access the net not using your home wifi network, you are limited to the data plan that you choose and if you exceed your set limit you have to pay more.

The internet service providers really want to go to a metered service where you pay by how much data you download, but so far there has been resistance from users.

Some providers tried the metered system in small areas and experienced a harsh customer backlash and bad publicity.

It seems that young people are being brainwashed into accepting this since there were unlimited smart phone data plans available until last year.

Eventually, the providers will win, I think, and US comsumers will have to pay for the amount they use on any device.

I hope not. That would ruin content distribution. No more Netflix or youtube, unless you want to pay extra.

That would just push everyone back to filling hard drives at LAN parties again.

I guess the video stores would get customers again lol. People would be checking CDs out at the library again like ten years ago.
